Meeting Info:

One of the hallmarks of ASAAP partnership is the opportunity to create new connections, network, and learn from others in the soy value chain. Through the ASAAP summer meeting, ASA leverages educational experiences that focus on the local agriculture and culture of the region we visit.

Following morning meetings each day, the group will participate in activities unique to the area. On Tuesday, participants will visit Merrimac Farms, an operation run by the family of ASA Director Brad Macauley, along with a tour of the American Rock Salt Company campus. On Wednesday, attendees will participate in a wine tasting and tour, and have the opportunity to dine while cruising on New York's Canandaigua Lake, part of the famous Finger Lakes.

A block of rooms has been secured in Fairport, NY, at the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa – Room Rate is $149 plus tax and fees per night.

Spouses/Guests are welcome to join the group during the afternoon activities and dinners. To participate in the wine tasting event you must be 21 years old. All other events are open to all ages.

Dress Code for the program:

Meetings: Business Casual – dress shirts, collared or polo shirt, blouses with slacks, khakis or dark jeans. No jacket or tie necessary.

Activities: Smart Casual – Blouses, plain shirts, pullovers, jeans, chinos, khaki-like pants, dress shorts or skorts.

Prepare for changing temperatures – busses and indoor venues are likely to be amply air conditioned. It’s a good idea to bring a jacket or sweater with you throughout the trip.
